About Me

I am a graphic designer and artist living and working in the northeast. I’m using this page to showcase my work and to tell my story.

My Background

My childhood was filled with creative endeavors such as drawing, animating, and writing songs. I knew I wanted to pursue a creative role when I was young from attending exhibits and being surrounded by family. My parents, both from the USSR, worked for Mosfilm when they met. My dad was a photographer and my mom was a costume designer. My grandfather was a sculptor and my grandmother was a ceramicist. During my years in middle school, I gravitated towards drawing and worked on a comic series. I would also create comic strips for my school paper. It was also during this time I began to make simple beats on the computer using software. In short, I wanted to do creative things in my life from a young age and was encouraged to explore the possibilities of graphic design. I found was interested in the multiple avenues one could take through the graphic design practice.

I attended the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth for my undergrad, where I pursued graphic design as a major and drawing as a minor. Both practices have been beneficial to me since then and have influenced the way I create and think about images. I gravitated toward print and branding during my undergrad and tried to create work that reflected my interests and background. Since then, I have been working to improve my skills by continually working on new projects and helping others with my graphic design capabilities.
